    Hi to all,
plz read only if u dare to do work in hospitality.
I'm nt demovating u but trust me this is fact :dont waste 5-6lacks.u will enjoy 4yrs or 3yrs during college but u all suffer after this : go for other industry…. study 3-4yrs hardly but after enjoy ur life thouroughly……….
……..if people came to know d truth/fact/picture before entering i can assure u only 2% will dare to go.
i'm in hotel industry frm 5 yrs(in 5 star property) working in good position but earning a little. working more than 15hrs. a day(for freshers life becomes hell) , no guaranteed weekly off, no leave allotted when required the most.
    earn less and perform more……..fundaaa
FRESHERS OPTING FOR HM think 100 times before doing or IF done HM then preferably do regular MBA and look for diff. opportunities
HM only for those who are smart, cunning, cruel, butterer, plus work smartly.
    FOR THOSE who r interested..
if want fast career growth dont go for F&B service some section such as banquets r hell(upto 18 hr. shift)nothing special they get : don't listen to those who tell u that they r earning 50000 or more per mnth , if they r its in selected hotel banquets where only preferreed ones or old ones do)
f&b production (good if u r selected for MT programme)
instead go for HK or front Office..growth is fassst work is less as compred to f&b service. and dont' think of marriage too.. life pissed uuuu…
THE MOST THING WHICH MATTERS IS HOW HARDLY U WORKS THE THING IS THAT U WILL ONLY RISE/GROW IF U HVE A BETTER DESTINY/FORTUNE/KISMAT……….

If you can do/agree/like to do the following, then do opt for hotel management.

    1. mostly hotel management college profesors are misfits, who could not work for longer in hotels, took some experience and opted for a relaxed life, and became professors

    2. you will be sent for industrial training to hotels during your hotel management course. you will have to wipe more than 200 plate, spoons, forks, glasses, etc, clean toilets, wash utensils in kitchen, clean dirty fish, work for 18 to 20 hours daily, run around sending messages and xeroxing pages in front office, clean public areas etc….in industrial training.

3 after doing the course, you can join hotels. if u r fron IHM, gud, or else if ur colg has gud placement. walkins are not entertained anywhere.

4 if u r ready to work in most worst conditions and get yourself demoralizes, and insulted every moment, and paid very less(even my kamvali earns more than hotel management professionals).., and if u r ready for all this, go for hotel management. this is a harsh reality. if u want to end up workin in hotels and having regrets for a lifetime, do hotel management. yes and let me tell u, if u say u hav passion for wines or cooking, all your passion will die in industrial traing, and rest after u start working in hotels. nobody gives a damn to what you like, just work work and work, and get less money…

hey hey hey listen plz everyone.hotel industry is a quite hardworking industry but if you handsome salary you have to work hard.even engineers also works hard.once if you are a manager you have many employees under you and you will have handsome salary.in a five star hotel starting salary is going to increase now upto 15k.

Hotel industry have a shortage of educated staff.so just those this option because job is guranteed and because it has less educated employess so promotions are easy to get.but always do a smarter work.

even the salry of a captain is nw 20k.

so don't worry.take a god's name and choose this industry.

but listen one thing your englisg speaking must b gud yr.

FOR GIRLS-it's an gud option.girl's seurity r much better in hotel's.you all have listen the raping of gir'ls in strret etc.but never in a hotel.it's because manager's take a gurantee of security of a girl's :)

after view all commets, the conclusion is that, hotel management require smart work not a hard work, it is for managers not for stewards,,,,,,,,,
so do study and give MT, because an dhaba's cook know how to make, but don;t know their chemical process, they know how to make breads but don't know the protein of wheat………………………………….
so don't be haptaised and do differentttttttttttttttttttttttt
